Galit began writing and directing comedies at the age of eight years old. Her third-grade teacher saw tremendous talent and ambition in her and invited Galit to write and direct a new theatrical work each year. By the sixth grade, Galit had written a half-hour long play which was presented to over four hundred elementary school students. Galit’s desire to become a director led her to study acting and directing at the Baltimore School for the Arts. Her B.A. in directing, from Hampshire College, has given her the opportunity to direct comedies around the world and train intensively in the art of physical comedy at The Julliard School, with Ringling Bros, and The Hungarian Circus. She recently made her big LA directorial debut directing/ producing Jamar Neighbors one-man show “It’s Definitely a Comedy Show,” which earned her a rave review from the top independent comedy journalist in the country (Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, GQ, Variety), Julie Seabaugh.
